Sunil Kumar Mittal

Sunil Kumar Mittal did B. Com. (H) from Delhi University and thereafter completed his LL.B from Delhi University in the year 1982. Since then he has been practicing continuously as an advocate before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India; Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and its Subordinate Courts and Tribunals such as DRAT, NCLT/NCLAT, NCDRC and other Consumer Forums. He has dealt with the cases like Constitutional Writs (Civil & Criminal); Appeals & Revisions (Civil & Criminal); LPA; Cases under Arbitration Act, Civil Suits, Anti-Corruption Matters etc. Mr. Mittal have also represented various sports bodies like Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) and Badminton Association of India (BAI) for conducting their cases including Arbitration Matters. Many cases argued by him are reported on different important law points in various law reporters. He was also one of the members of the Committee constituted by Hon’ble the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court to propose and prepare the scheme/ rules for setting up of Delhi High Court Arbitration Centre. He has worked as a panel lawyer on the Senior Panel of Union of India; and also with Prasar Bharti; Delhi Development Authority (DDA); FCI; Syndicate Bank, ITDC etc. He was been engaged as an Advocate by numerous Educational Institutions and various Private Sector Corporations. He was also appointed as a Special Prosecutor in few cases of great public importance. Mr. Mittal had also acted as an Arbitrator and Mediator in many cases.
Mr. Mittal held the office of the Vice-Chairman, Bar Council of Delhi and was also a Member of Censor Board [Central Board of Film Certification (Northern Region)]. He has been the Hony. Joint Secretary, Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). He is a Life Member of Indian Law Institute, Indian Council of Arbitration and Indian Council of Constitutional Studies. He is also a Member of most of the Bar Associations in Delhi and of various other Societies, Clubs and Associations involved in Religious, Cultural, Sports and Social welfare activities
